What do YOU think a prototype is?
It is a basic model of a product or information system that is design in order to demonstrate its purpose or its development process.
What form does it take?
It is usually deliver by video prototype and Interactive prototype
What do you need to make one?
Boards, drawing tools, sketch drawing tools and modeling tools.
These tools all have a common purpose is to help user better deliver their prototype, make the prototype better quality.
What is it used for?
It is used for gaining feedback, it keeps adding or deleting changes that have been made in the developing process of the prototype. Moreover, it cost less time and money.
What is it’s purpose?
Prototypes are generally used to test an idea in an existing system or before a real system is established. The goal of the prototype is to prove whether the components that will also be in the final system will work together as expected.
When would you create one?
Prototype should be used when new product or new information system is created, and when it need to be tested.
